Overview: We are recruiting for an independent content marketing agency based in North Hertfordshire. This part time job would be ideal for someone looking to take their training and experience to the next level and gain some new experience and the opportunity to work with some very experienced people in a variety of fields.   This is a part time role, initially for 8 hours a week but may require additional hours in the future. Please note, this is NOT a full time position.

Description:

Reporting directly to the company owners, you will primarily be responsible for developing, producing and publishing original digital content for the company website and social platforms, as well as client websites, social platforms and printed content. You will be working with text, video, photo, graphic and audio content and will need to research topics relevant to the business and its client and recommend new trends and topics for content creation.

You will be expected to keep track of events locally and nationally that may be of use in creating content as well as contact key people for quotes and comments.

In addition, you will be supporting the team with putting together pitch documents, support with the management of freelance team members, scheduling and making sure each team goes out with the right completed documents for their production and right licences.

You will be using Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Open Office, social scheduling software and project management tools.

Additional tasks not mentioned above may be required including but not limited to administrative tasks.

Monitor performance of social media channels on a day to day basis
To use content production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud as outlined above
Keep abreast of industry social media trends and their input on content production, distribution and consumption.
To transform creative ideas into practical reality.
To be able to prioritise plans and activities considering all the relevant issues and factors such as deadlines, staffing and resources.
To be able to present, discuss and explain coherently and logically in writing and verbally.
To adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations, with individuals or groups whilst maintaining personal effectiveness.
Can demonstrate commitment, motivation and energy.
Will edit and create new sections of websites using a content management system.
Keep up to date and be responsive to technological advancements in digital media production.
Contribute to and maintain a blog and social networking sites.
Participate in setting up, recording and editing audio and video content.
Participate in photography.
Basic HTML and web editing skills would be an advantage.
Experience of publishing to social media platforms and copy writing for digital platforms.
An excellent attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
