CNC Operator

Overview: Our customer are a leading aerospace components manufacturer, They use high technology processes, and have 20 years of experience of the quality standards in the aerospace industry with certification to AS9100 rev C and accredited by NADCAP for our special processes If you are a CNC Operator then please read on........  


They are looking for additional staff to join their established team.
Working on a shift rotation of; -0600 -1400 Monday to Friday, 1400 – 2000 Monday to Friday and 2200 – 0600 Sunday to Thursday. (Shift allowance will be applicable weekly for each shift)
Your role will be supporting the production of components to ensure they confirm to customer requirements.

Key responsibilities will include, setting and operating a variety of conventional machinery to produce tooling and production work using a variety of materials. Working on CNC machines, manual lathes, mills, bands saws, hand grinders, along with some bench work. You would also be expected to quality inspect your work to ensure they meet with required size gauges using the relevant measuring equipment.

To fulfil this role your main skills set should include the following: –
5 Axis machining experience (ideally Mazak) Manual machining experience beneficial Aerospace Sector experience an advantage Good interpersonal skills at all levels Flexible attitude A positive approach to all areas of your work
