Overview: Our client, a pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Hitchin is looking for a part time compliance assistant to ensure all procedures and policies are adhered to.

Have you worked in the pharma industry?

If you can answer yes to one or both of these questions, our client may be interested in speaking to you about their permanent, part time position. The hours are 9am-1pm but there may be some degree of flexibility.

The company is a pharmaceutical wholesaler and they buy and sell products ranging from dressings to paracetamol to more controlled drugs. It is a very heavily licensed industry and as such, their is a lot of compliance required to procedures and practices.

With 20 current standard operating procedures, you will be able to read, understand and work to these as well as amending them when required. Alerts do come in for some updates but you will also be required to research via the internet, any new compliance issues you may have.

You will be fully conversant with the Microsoft packages as there is a lot of date capture and creating of tables and documents required.

It is a small organisation and you will be required to work under your own steam for a lot of the time once up to speed in the role. An initial 4 week period of intense training will be followed with ongoing, on the job training.
