Overview: Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Restaurant supervisor / Receptionist for this rural hotel and events facility.
Our client has a beautiful venue with facilities such as bar, restaurant, rooms and a function suite to host weddings and events – set in the Bedfordshire countryside. There is ample parking available so the hotel has great potential and they would like it maximised. Set back far enough from the main roads, it is easily accessible yet pleasantly quiet away from the main roads.
Working from Wednesday PM service covering Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through to the end of afternoon service, you will approx 30 hours a week. During peak weddings and events season, this will increase to approx 40 hours a week.
The successful person will be reporting to the Assistant Manager and they are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic and motivated individual who can drive business into the venue with innovative ideas that attract a new client base. In addition to supervising the restaurant, you will be responsible for some reception duties and some administrative duties. In addition to these reception duties, you be expected to encourage the guests to use the facilities such as the restaurant.
