Overview: Our client in Hitchin is looking for a full time permanent Sales Administrator to join their small but successful sales team.

Description:

Looking after approx 200 customers, the in house sales team has a turnover of approx £700k.

Working as part of this successful team Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, you will be office based managing your patch. Your patch will be far and wide and you will be looking after your own clients, building relationships, up-selling and creating sales opportunities. Although generating new leads and clients is always welcomed, it is not an essential as this role is predominantly about account managing your client base. The company would rather improve on margins.

Reporting to the sales manager, you will proactively work with your clients to ensure they are happy and also that they are ordering stock in good time. Any new business you generate will become part of your patch. This is more of a consultative role and as you learn the products, you will be able to up-sell and show your customers what a great understanding of their business you have.

Plastics industry experience isn’t essential nor is a sales or sales admin role within manufacturing but both would be advantageous
